We just had an AMAZING time playing at Cafe Mekka in Nevada City. From the beginning of our set everyone was up out of their seats, dancing and singing along. You spoil us Nevada City!! We’re so grateful for all the awesome new people we’re meeting on the road, and all the wonderful friends who’ve been coming out to hear and support our music.
Check out the tour blogs above for all the insider details on our misadventures!

Summer Update… June 15, 11

Thanks everyone who came out to the Japan relief benefit concert at the Starry Plough in Berkeley! It was our new bassist’s first show with us and together we gave him a warm welcome. Most importantly, we raised over a grand for a good cause! Big thanks to the Bayonettes girls (Facebook.com/Bayonettes) for putting the show together :)

Sorry to misinform anyone who read we were going to  be playing at the Laurel Summer Solstice Music Festival – we did not. There was a miscommunication of sorts. Again, sorry!

However, we are very much looking forward to our summer tour in August! We’ll be playing a string of shows in California, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, and Washington. To find out which cities we’ll visit and other details, check out the Shows Page!

Spring Tour!! April 12, 11

Hey Everyone,

We’re excited to announce we’re touring to Southern California and back! We’re hitting San Luis Obispo, Los Angeles, San Diego, Fresno, and finally back home to Berkeley. If you live in one of these towns come check out the show!

…Due to some cancellations, our Fresno show is no longer at Tokyo Garden. Instead we’re playing at Audie’s Olympic and it’s looking like it’s going to be a fun night!

Playing at Archway School’s Annual Carnival March 22, 11

This Saturday March 26th, we’re playing at Archway School’s first annual Walk-a-Thon and Carnival. The school is meaningful to us because it is where Josh and I met and learned guitar! This band would most likely not exist were it not for Archway. So we’re happy to revisit our routes and ROCK for the very environment that taught us to do so:)

We’ll be playing in the middle of the street next to Archway’s Oakland Campus in the afternoon. There’ll be facepainting, a bounce house, and a micro-brewery beer garden!

-Jesse

PS. Thanks everyone who came out to our intimate acoustic/percussion show at Farley’s East. That was a fun night and a good St. Patrick’s Day!

Playing Farley’s East in Oakland! March 04, 11

First off, thanks to all the folks who came out to Bottom of the Hill! Like I said, we’ve seen many of our favorite bands play here so playing to a full Bottom of the Hill was like a crazy dream come true :). Check back for photos of the concert…

(Were you at the show? Comment on our performance or the night as a whole in the forum!)

So that was our full band thing – now it’s time for an intimate duo performance! This Saint Patrick’s Day, Thursday the 17th, we’re giving a free acoustic show at Farley’s East in Oakland. I’ll be playing solo as well as accompanied by our drummer Chris Nishimoto with percussion and vocal harmony. Come join us!

Website up and show at Bottom of the Hill! February 18, 11

The site is finally up!! Crazy huge thanks to Nathan Abercrombie – our brilliant web designer and my younger brother. Check out all the cool features, such as videos, photos, a music player, and the first ever Dear Indugu forum! Psst, do a little exploring on the homepage and you just may find some sneaky surprises…

Aside from the new website, we’re extremely excited to announce we’ll be performing at San Francisco’s renowned concert venue, Bottom of the Hill! Josh and I have been going to shows here since we were in high school and have seen some of our favorite bands play on this stage. You can imagine how crazy pee-our-pants stoked we are to be hitting this same stage in our near future! The show is Thursday March 3rd and judging by the other bands playing and the awesome atmosphere Bottom of the Hill creates, you can bet it’ll be a good one! Check our ‘Shows’ page for more info.
